Retrollect

// About Retrollect

The canonical platform for retro collectors

Retrollect is a community-powered database and collection tracker for retro games, consoles, and hardware. Our mission is to build the most complete and accurate catalogue of physical retro media — one entry at a time.

// Our Story

Retrollect started as a personal project — a way to track a growing retro game collection without relying on generic spreadsheets or incomplete wikis. It quickly became clear that the problem was shared by thousands of collectors worldwide.

Existing resources were fragmented: one site had decent game data but no hardware, another had hardware but no regional variants, and none of them let you track condition, ownership, or your wishlist in one place.

Retrollect brings all of that together. We aim to be the single source of truth for physical retro media — with deep metadata, community proposals, and a clean interface that works as well on your phone as it does at your desk.

// What We Stand For

Accuracy First

Every entry is community-verified. Regional variants, serial numbers, barcodes — the details that matter to collectors.

Built by Collectors

We are collectors ourselves. Retrollect was born out of frustration with incomplete databases and scattered spreadsheets.

Complete Coverage

Games, hardware, accessories — every release, every region, every edition. If it shipped, it belongs in the database.

Community-Driven

Proposals, corrections, and contributions flow from the community. No single curator can know it all.
